LONDON:
Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain dismissed allegations put by Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf chief Imran Khan, demanding an apology over Khan’s remarks on MQM chief, local media sources reported on Tuesday.
“I condemn his allegations which are untrue and baseless. He must prove all accusations or get ready to face the court,” MQM chief said in a statement released from London, according to sources.
“If MQM was involved in killing of people, how the party won NA-246 elections?” Altaf Hussain questioned, and demanded Imran Khan’s apology over his claims.
Khan had blamed Altaf Hussain for target killings in Karachi.
