Sid Tepper dies: Songwriter for Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley passes away

Sid Tepper – the man behind numerous hits for the likes of Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Louis Armstrong, Dean Martin and Peggy Lee – has died at the age of 96.

He passed away of natural causes at home in Miami Beach, Florida.

Tepper worked with Roy C Bennett for over 25 years writing hit songs for the most successful artists during what is considered a golden age of music.

Among their hundreds of songs were Travelin’ Light, Red Roses for a Blue Lady, Strangers in the Starlight, Lonesome Cowboyand The Young Ones.
