Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Sunday admitted that PTI has not been able to become an organised party so far, adding that PTI still needs leaders.

Addressing PTI’s youth convention in Islamabad, Khan said that a leader is not made by “spending money”, adding that a coward person can also not be a leader.

PTI chairman said a leader “always takes big decisions and is free from ego”. He said a leader is decided on merit and not on friendship. He said PTI is the only party in the country that has shown federation without aligning with any other party, adding that PTI brought a “new thought” to the country.

Khan said that PTI’s sit-ins made youngsters political and brought a new awareness among women. He said PTI wants the system of justice in the country. He reiterated his allegations that both major parties have a secret agreement to support each other while pretending to be the opponents.

PTI chief said that both major parties conspired to appoint head of National Accountability Bureau (NAB). He said it would go on for another 20 years if there was no PTI.
