Pakistan sends aid to quake-hit Nepal

Pakistan’s four C-130 airplanes on Sunday flew to aiding Nepal during the earthquake-hit time, where over 1900 people have been killed in the devastating natural disaster, according to local media sources.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a 30-bed hospital, medical staff, food items and rescue teams have been dispatched from Pakistan.

“To provide relief to earthquake victims in Nepal, 4 C-130 aircrafts with 30 bedded hospital, army doctors, special search and rescue teams, food items have left for Nepal,” D.G. ISPR, Major General Asim Salim Bajwa, said on Twitter.

International aid groups and governments escalated efforts to dispatch rescuers and supplies to earthquake-hit Nepal as the death toll reached 1,900, according to reports.
