Being a resident at Buffer Zone, Sector 15-A5, North Nazimabad, Karachi, I would like to raise my voice against load shedding in my vicinity, which consists of more than six hours daily. Our supply is also shared with KBR and People’s Colony, resulting in heavy line losses due to remote areas. K-Electric says that we are facing this load shedding because of insufficient recovery from the area. The question is who is accountable for insufficient recovery and line losses? Why are the people, who regularly pay their bills, are treated equally to those people who do not? The relevant government authorities should actively keep an eye on the distributing companies to ensure their accountability and justice with the people.
