Eight killed, two injured in mishaps

As many as eight people were killed and two others injured in different mishaps in the metropolis on Thursday.

An unidentified youth, 25, was killed when a speeding vehicle hit him in Liaquatabad area. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities.

A woman, Maria, 18, wife of Jawed died when train crushed her near Madam Apartment, Wireless Gate. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy.

A man, Qawi-ul-Haq, 25, son of Muhammad Saleem, was killed in a road accident in Karimabad. The body was shifted to ASH for medico-legal formalities.

In another road mishap, a man, Fahim, 50 died, while Ali Raza, 19, son of Jawed and Waleed, 19, son of Ilyas were injured when a speeding car hit their bike near Korangi Crossing area. The body and the injured were shifted to JPMC for autopsy and treatment respectively.

Yet in another accident, a man, Haji Allah Baksh, 75, was dies when a speeding vehicle hit him in Surjani area. The body was shifted to ASH for an autopsy. A man, Sirfraz, 50, son of Munawar, was found dead by strangulated at his home in Korangi 1 ½ area. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy.

According to rescue sources, a man, Salah-ud-Din, 45, was fell from roof top of his home in Korangi 5 ½. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for an autopsy.

An unidentified man, 40, was drowned into Lasbela Nullah. The body was recovered and shifted to ASH for medico-legal formalities.
