Rs 70m robbed by ‘uniformed’ dacoits

A gang of dacoits in Islamabad Police uniform looted a moneychanger who had brought huge cash amounting to Rs 70,000,000 from Karachi to Islamabad on Wednesday.

According to reports, the passenger landed at Benazir International Airport in the morning and when he reached Tramri Chowk in Islamabad in a car, a gang of dacoits who were reportedly in government vehicles stopped his vehicle, threw him out of the car and fled from the scene.

President of the Forex Association Malik Bostan said the man was carrying Rs 70,000,000. He said he has convened a meeting of the Forex Association and was trying to contact the Prime Minister to convey grievances.
