The Punjab Assembly’s parliamentary calendar for the session 2015-16 has been finalised on Wednesday. Parliamentary sessions will take place every month except for July.
Former Law Minister Rana Sanaullah headed a special committee which finalised the calendar for assembly sessions and gave recommendation for its approval.
The calendar has been made part of assembly rolls of business.
According to the new calendar, the duration of parliamentary sessions will be 7 days in January and February,
12 in March, 7 in April and May, 15 in June, 7 in August, 12 in September, 7 in October and November while in December it will be of 12 days.
