With that, the saturated Pakistani market of lawn designers and retail brands get their creative juices flowing, to present to the ladies, the best spring/summer wear they can get their hands on with the most competitive of prices. There are textile mills and designer mergers, former ramp models venturing into lawn designing, and Bollywood actresses flaunted in full as the mascots for various designer brands.
For the last four to five years, lawn is no longer just any fabric that you wear to cool off in the summer and feel comfortable in the heat; it has become a fashion statement. Almost every next designer has, or is planning to, launch a range of lawn prints. We have also made it into a status symbol. Ladies love to talk about prints of lawns and feel pride in owning phenomenally expensive dresses which may not be worth the price.
