Govt employees spanked outside KP Assembly

The police resorted to the use of teargas and baton-charge on Tuesday to disperse government employees gathered in protest outside the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly in Peshawar.
The government employees, ranging from Grade-1 to Grade-16, carried out a protest rally from Jinnah Park to Press Club and blocked Khyber and Jail roads to register their protest.
The demonstrators said that KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak had himself announced upgradation for government employees but had never fulfilled his promise.
