Youhanabad lynching case: 22 accused remanded in police custody

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday handed over 22 accused involved Youhanabad lynching case to police on a ten-day physical remand.

Nishtar Colony police produced the accused before ATC-III Judge Haroon Latif and submitted that the accused were identified during the investigation parade held at Kot Lakhpat Jail. The police requested the court to grant physical remand of the accused for further investigation.

The court handed over the accused to police on a ten-day physical remand and directed to produce them again on April 30.

Nishtar Colony police had registered a case against the accused for killing two persons after twin bombings struck two churches last month.
