The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) gunned down a dacoit in an alleged encounter in the city whereas his accomplice managed to flee from the scene.
CIA on a tip off raided in Model Town G block where the suspects opened firing at police officers, retaliating to which security personnel killed one dacoit.
As per police sources, the search of fled suspect is underway for his detention.
