President Mamnoon Hussain conferred Nishan-e-Pakistan, highest civil decoration, on Chinese President Xi Jinping in a ceremony held at the President House on Tuesday.
The ceremony, which started with national anthems of both countries, was attended by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, federal ministers, members of National Assembly and Senate, services chiefs and Chinese delegation.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Zakaullah, Air Chief Sohail Aman and Chinese ambassador to Pakistan also attended the ceremony.
