Police recover 4,000 detonators from car in Peshawar
In ongoing Khyber-II operation, as many as five militant were killed on Sunday whereas three security personnel sustained injuries during clashes between security forces and militants in Tirah Valley, Khyber Agency.
As per details, security department conducted an operation in the area of Nangrosa Sipah killing as many as five militants whereas three officers also got severely injured.
Moreover, the injured security personnel have been shifted to the CMH Hospital in Peshawar.
Meanwhile in Lakki Marwat, two people were injured in a hand grenade explosion during cleansing of canal on Sunday. The incident took place in Yasin Manjanwala locality of Lakki Marwat where the dwellers of area were engage in cleansing of a canal on self help basis.
The injured including Dilnawaz and Kamran were shifted to local hospital from where they were referred to DHQ Bannu due to critical condition.
Moreover in Chaman, the Anti-terrorist Force (ATF) arrested two terrorists and recovered arms during a crackdown here on Sunday.
Security sources said that the ATF team on intelligence report conducted search operation at Roughani Road in Chaman. During action two terrorists were nabbed besides recovering heavy automated weapons from their possession.
Security sources said that the arrested culprits have been involved in several terror attacks.
The detainees have been shifted to undisclosed destination for further interrogation and startling revelations were expected.
Furthermore, Frontier Corps (FC) arrested seven suspects during operation here on Sunday and recovered arms from their possession. FC spokesperson said that the paramilitary troops on a tip-off regarding presence of criminals launched crackdown in suburbs of Hub Town. He said that during search operation seven suspects was nabbed and prohibited arms were taken into possession from their custody. The detainees have been shifted to unknown location for further interrogation.
Moreover, the police recovered huge quantity of detonators from a car but the accused managed to escaped leaving the vehicle on scene here on Sunday.
The police signalled to stop a suspected car coming from Dara Adam Khel at Kohat Road in Badhber area of Peshawar. However, the driver leaving the car by roadside escaped the scene. During search of vehicle 4,000 detonators were recovered.
Police feared that the detonators were being carried from Dara Adam Khel to Peshawar where they were being used in terror activities but timely action of police foiled the bid.
