VEHARI:
A convicted prisoner on death row has been hanged in Vehari’s District jail this morning, according to local media sources.
Manzoor Wasli slew a policeman during a robbery attempt in 2001. A local anti-terrorism court (ATC) had convicted him and awarded him double death penalty.
Death warrant for his punishment was issued on April 13, according to sources.
