The National Assembly Secretariat on Wednesday halted the Pakistan Tehreek-Insaf (PTI) members’ salaries of seven months.
National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has submitted a motion to deseat PTI’s lawmakers. He said that voting will be held on the motion in the next session of assembly and if the majority rejects the motion then PTI members will get their salaries otherwise the salaries would not be released.
