The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has proposed reduction of 23 per cent in the per kilogram price of the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).
According to details, the proposal to lower down CNG prices has been made to the petroleum ministry after declaration of Gas Infrastructure Development Cess (GIDC) as illegal.
As per the working paper, CNG prices in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan will go down by Rs 17.16 per kilogram while reduction of Rs 16.11 per kilogram has been proposed for the consumers in Sindh and Punjab. The petroleum ministry will take the final decision regarding decline in CNG prices.
