Robbers shot dead one person and injured another upon resistance during robbery attempt on Monday.
Police said that armed robbers tried to snatch mobile phone, cash and other valuables from two persons in cantonment area.
Upon resistance, the robbers fired shots killing one person, injuring another and fled from the scene.
The body and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities while police after registering a case against unidentified persons, kicked off investigation.
