Lok Virsa’s Punjabi musical flavour

Punjab musical night was arranged at Lok Virsa Shakarparian under the auspices of the Punjab Council of the Arts on the last night of Lok Mela in which folk singers from all over Punjab gave wonderful performances.

Deputy Director Punjab Council of the Arts Saeed Ahmed Khan was present on the occasion and was conferred an appreciation certificate by Lok Virsa at the closing ceremony for giving an extraordinary performance during the 10 days of the Lok Mela.

The night started with a performance by Multan Lok Raqs Party with a traditional horse dance. Fazal Jat and Laila Malik presented traditional theatrical performances by depicting the characters of Heer Ranjha. Qurban Niazi also enthralled audience by singing Jugni in his own style. The performance of Shaukat Ali on dhol was also eye-catching. Besides others Robi Reshman, Bashir Lohar, Akhtar Ali, Iftikhar Masih, Amir Dhol Wala, Umair Ali, Saeen Ejaz, Hasnain Abbas, Ahmed Ali Qamar and Zafar Iqbal received thunderous applause for their singing.
