Street crime has unfortunately become a regular feature of Karachi. The recent surge in street crimes is alarming. In order to bring an end to this evil, efforts should be made to improve police and other law enforcement agencies so that apprehended criminals are tried justly and punished duly. I request the authorities responsible for security in the city to further keep a watch on the culprits who are dangerous to the youth and other citizens of the city. It is the duty of the government to provide security to the people. I would suggest that we should not hesitate to register complaints against criminals, no matter how petty the offense is.
