National Assembly Opposition Leader Syed Khurshid Shah on Sunday said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) will remain neutral in NA-246 by-polls.
Talking to reporters, Shah also said that Pakistan tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) returned to assemblies after all its demands including establishment of judicial commission to probe alleged rigging in 2013 general election were accepted. He said that criticism of ruling Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) ministers over PTI’s return to the assemblies was unjustified and it hurts credibility of their own party more than the rival party.
Commenting over the letter of former chief justice to NA speaker, he questioned Chaudhary’s silence on PTI resignations for eight months. He said it was good for political norms that resignations of PTI parliamentarians were not accepted.
