ANP to become party in vote probe JC

The Awami National Party (ANP) Sunday decided to become party in Judicial Commission tasked to probe alleged rigging in General Election 2013.

According to sources, the decision was taken in the meeting of the party’s special committee in which ANP leaders Afrasaib Khattak, Mian Iftikhar, Bushra Gohar and Zahid Khan were present.

Talking to reporters, Iftikhar said that the party has gathered proofs of rigging and it would present them before the Judicial Commission on April 14. He said that the party workers have also been directed to submit more proofs to the central leadership.

The Judicial Commission in its first meeting sought rigging proofs from the political parties till April 15.
