The Sindh Assembly Friday passed into law five bills while two more bills were introduced and consideration of yet another bill was deferred.
All these bills were tabled by Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Dr Sikandar Mandhro.
The assembly passed unanimously, Govt Bill No 17/2015 The Sindh Mental Health (Amendment) Bill 2015, Govt Bill No 16/2015 The Civil Servants (Amendment) Bill 2015, Govt Bill No 10/2015 The Sindh Coastal Development Authority (Amendment) Bill 2015, Govt Bill No 11/2015 The Sindh Finance (Amendment) Bill 2015 and Govt Bill No 14/2015 The Sindh Sound System (Regulation) Bill 2015.
The consideration of Govt Bill No 12/2015 The Sindh Information of Temporary Residents Bill 2015 was deferred to the next session. However, two other bills were introduced in the House. They were Govt Bill No 9/2015 The AO Postgraduate Institute of Orthopedic Sciences Bill 2015, and Govt Bill No 17/2015 The Peoples University Medical and Health Sciences for Women Shaheed Benazirabad (Amendment) Bill 2015.
