In a swish of good news the political consensus between PTI and the government has been implemented in the shape of formation of the judicial commission. The Chief Justice of Pakistan will head the commission along with two other judges as members. The commission has the mandate to probe into the alleged systematic rigging in May 2013 General Elections and will preferably submit its findings within 45 days. This formation is an appreciable step taken by the government which not only exhibits its political poise and maturity but also leads the way to strengthen the democratic norms in the political system of our country. It is hoped that the judicial commission will work judiciously in dispensation of justice and will set a glorifying example of impartiality and of political and judicial accuracy to settle political turmoil for good.
