Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) senior central leader Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has said Pakistan must send army for the defence of the Haramain Sharifain.
“Saudi Arabia has always supported Pakistan in every difficult time, Saudi Arabia also openly sided with us in two wars with India, be it earthquake or any other calamity they have helped us, millions of Pakistanis were employed in Saudi Arabia,” he said while talking to media on arrival in the Parliament House along with Senator Kamil Ali Agha and Tariq Bashir Cheema on Monday.
Elahi said that relations with Saudi Arabia were not of recent time but since creation of Pakistan both the countries are having brotherly relations. “Today, if Saudi Arabia is in difficult time then Pakistan should fully support it.”
Replying to a question, Elahi said that Pakistan must send the army for the defence of the Haramain Sharifain and the Parliament should adopt a unanimous resolution in which Pakistan should fully support Saudi Arabia in terms of its defence as security of Saudi Arabia is security of Pakistan.
Elahi also welcomed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on returning to the Parliament and said that unanimous decision should come regarding the national matters.
