Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) senior central leader Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has said Pakistan must send army for the defence of the Haramain Sharifain.
“Saudi Arabia has always supported Pakistan in every difficult time, Saudi Arabia also openly sided with us in two wars with India, be it earthquake or any other calamity they have helped us, millions of Pakistanis were employed in Saudi Arabia,” he said while talking to media on arrival in the Parliament House along with Senator Kamil Ali Agha and Tariq Bashir Cheema on Monday.
Elahi said that relations with Saudi Arabia were not of recent time but since creation of Pakistan both the countries are having brotherly relations. “Today, if Saudi Arabia is in difficult time then Pakistan should fully support it.”
Replying to a question, Elahi said that Pakistan must send the army for the defence of the Haramain Sharifain and the Parliament should adopt a unanimous resolution in which Pakistan should fully support Saudi Arabia in terms of its defence as security of Saudi Arabia is security of Pakistan.
Elahi also welcomed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on returning to the Parliament and said that unanimous decision should come regarding the national matters.
A friend in need is the friend indeed.
Help KSA in their time of need.
Help them now with Army, Navy and Airforce
I never ever thought that Pakistan will hesitate in helping my country. Saudis are in a state of shock from Pakistan. We actually thought that Pakistan will be the first to help. To us, Houthis are an existential threat. Shame on you!
imam shafi once said that:
A friend who does not benefit during the time of hardships, Is close to an enemy on the scales
he also said:
Nothing can scratch your skin quite like your own nails,
So take care of all your affairs by yourself.
And if you must seek help for some of your needs,
Then seek out a person who knows well your virtue
KSA should ponder on these words
Pakistan should have sent its army and not relied on these dumb politicians in parliament for this important decision of vital national interest. A golden opprtunity is being lost by Pakistan. There is no such thing as netrality in international diplomacy. Nobody in parliament asked Iran to stop interferring in Yeman, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and even in Pakistan. Shame on our parliament and government for ruining our historical relationship with Arab countries.
