The Frenchman, who himself scored a brace against the relegation-threatened Andalusians, could not hide his admiration and bowed down to the former Manchester United man.
“Cristiano is a phenomenon, he is always on the lookout for goals and ways of helping the team,” Benzema said.
“He deserves everything he has achieved. Himself, Bale and I are in good form, as is always the case.
“We are helping the team, sometimes we score and sometimes we don’t, but we are in good shape to continue like this until the end of the season”.
