As many as six dacoits on Thursday robbed at least Rs 2 million in cash from a private bank in the Khanna Bridge area.
According to the details, the incident took place on Islamabad Expressway within the jurisdiction of the Koral Police Station. The culprits held the staff of the bank hostage for at least 20 minutes and took off with Rs 2 million cash.
The police reached the bank after learning about the news and investigated the staff and the guards. The CCTV footage was also seized by the police.
The police started their investigation into the robbery after collecting evidences from the crime scene.
