Overruling the Islamabad High Court (IHC)’s decision, a three-member Supreme Court (SC) bench, headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Nasirul Mulk, Tuesday restored Muhammad Malick as Pakistan Television (PTV) managing director (MD).
During the hearing of the appeal filed by Malick against IHC’s judgment on his appointment, the petitioner’s counsel argued that IHC wrongly held that the heads of public sector organisations must have at least a master’s degree or that the demand for only a bachelor’s degree was “manipulated and manoeuvred”. Possessing a master’s degree was not linked to having ability to act as a successful PTV MD, he added.
Previously, IHC had declared Malick’s appointment as PTV MD null and void, observing that the Ministry of Information had failed to follow legal procedure for the purpose. His appointment was challenged by PTV Special Assignments Director Qazi Mustafa Kamal.

please also throw out all al-khair unversity degree holders in PTV, because they all purchased these degrees from the PTV NEWS CENTER employee, and there are many high official of ptv having these degrees and backing up the seller of these al-khair university degrees,i can provide you the name of the seller and purchasers.
I Emailed many times and raise this scam of Al-khair university degree sale purchase ongoing business at PTV NEWS CENTER to Mr MD Mohammad Malick but he never replied or launch any inquiry on it which expose his intensions.
he only terminating the staff who dont have 100k to buy Al-khair university degree to save there self, rest who buy these degrees are save and the part of MR MD's strong team which whom he believe turn around PTV , wakeup MR MD and do the justice, not buried this scam like PINK ADVERTISING story.
