Our police

I had been given the opportunity to visit Shara-e-Faisal police station by a criminal who stole my car’s side mirrors while I was on a visit to my sister in Gulistan-e-Jauhar. What I thought of a pleasant visit became a nightmare when after almost one hour of discussion, the ASI of ACLC tried to have it done with the police station staff and they asked for five thousand rupees to be paid as underhand money to provide me with a roznamcha, describing the incident on a piece of paper, for the insurance people to fulfill their paperwork to get towards repairs of my car. I simply had to control myself before I came out of that police station.

All my dreams shattered that we are all going towards a corruption-less Pakistan and our police and Rangers are doing a great job to help us all out from this mess.

But alas, it is still a long way to go for these majority of culprits in police to be taken out and to wait for merit based and trained appointments to start anytime soon.
