Barriers outside Bilawal House removed

In an important development for upholding supremacy of law, street barriers were removed in front of the Bilawal House in Karachi after a long period of seven years on Wednesday.

In presence of Rangers, all the barricades were removed and the road from Seaview and Boat Basin to Bilawal House was opened for traffic to pleasant surprise of Karachiites.

These barricades blocked the free movement of citizens in this area for seven years. However, finally the law prevailed and the Rangers and staff of municipal agencies, using heavy machinery, removed the barriers in five-hour long operation. However, police pickets established there for security were left untouched. The citizens of Karachi have welcomed the removal of road barriers in front of Bilawal House and lauded the performance of Rangers to make the city a decent place to live in.
