The Nishtar Colony police have arrested three dacoits involved in snatching motorcycles, looting cash and mobile phones besides recovering looted items.
SP Model Town constituted a special police team led by SDPO Kahna which arrested members of Faizan alias Papi dacoit gang and recovered three motorcycles, cash mobile phones and illegal weapons.
During preliminary interrogation, the accused confessed to 10 incidents of dacoity and motorcycle theft in different areas of the city
The accused have been identified as Faizan, Shafaqat and Hameedullah.
Man attempts self immolation outside LPC
A man was hospitalized on Saturday after he attempted self immolation outside the Lahore Press Club.
Rescue sources said that Ameen, hailing from district Jhang doused himself with petrol and set fire after failing to get justice from the police and government officials. They said that the man was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment where he is reported to be in serious condition.
