LUMS walks extra mile for entrepreneurs

The Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and the American University DC on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding to improve collaboration in Pakistan’s entrepreneurship sector focusing on helping women entrepreneurs develop the expertise and leadership required to run their businesses successfully.

The MOU commits the two institutions to share faculty and resources to establish a flagship programme for prospective women entrepreneurs in Pakistan.

The event was held at the Rausing Executive Development Centre with opening remarks from Dr Ehsan ul Haque, Dean of the Suleman Dawood School of Business, followed by success stories of two women entrepreneurs of LUMS.

Alumna’s Pronto Promotional Managing Partner Saulat Salauddin and Mausammary Lawn CEO Ayesha Mansoor spoke about their personal and professional journey as successful entrepreneurs.
