Addressing a public meeting in Mirpur, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan said Wednesday that he has broken the longstanding Zardari-Nawaz partnership.

“I am not going to break Zardari and Nawaz partnership he says, I have already done it,” said Khan during his first major political event in Kashmir after former AJK prime minister Barrister Sultan Mehmood joined the party. The public meeting was held in connection with the upcoming by-elections on Barrister Sultan’s seat.

Khan said that the decisions of AJK will be taken in AJK and his party will bring a local bodies system where every village will make its own decisions.

“The Mirpur community abroad works hard and these people loot your money and take them out. We are here to free you from these corrupt people,” he said, while deeming 2015 to be the year of elections during which he claims will prove as to how Sharif is sitting in government by “stealing the mandate”.

“Go Nawaz Go will be accomplished soon as the Judicial Commission will soon be established to investigate rigging in the polls.”

Moreover, the PTI chief announced that he will hold his next public meeting in Karachi to defeat MQM leader Altaf Hussain. He claimed that people attend MQM’s rallies and listen to Altaf’s speech quietly out of fear for their lives.

Khan also lashed out at the government’s action against Islamabad Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Nekokara and promised that PTI will reinstate him and award him for standing for right and not obeying wrong orders.
