Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam  (PML-Q) Sindh chapter celebrated Pakistan Day by arranging a unique boat rally in open sea on Monday.

The rally named “Caravan-e-Bahar” started from Ibrahim Haidri, an old coastal locality of Karachi. Many boats decorated with colourful bunting and the national flags took part in the rally. A large number of children wearing uniforms presented a tableau. They paraded like small soldiers and sang the national anthem to show the national unity and solidarity.  Noted singers and folk dancers sang national songs and displayed their skills of traditional Sindhi, Balochi, Punjabi and Siraiki dances. A large number of men, women and children chanting the slogans of Allah Akbar and Pakistan Zindabad took part in the boat rally, while a huge crowd was present at the jetty to see the colourful boats of the rally. Green and white balloons were released into the air on this festive occasion.

Pakistan Muslim League Sindh leader Haleem Adil Sheikh hoisted the national flag in the open sea to celebrate the United Nations decision to increase the Pakistan coastal limits to another 50000 square kilometres. With erecting a symbolic national flag in the sea, the Pakistan Muslim League-Q leaders and workers along with the people took a symbolic possession of this new area.

Speaking on the occasion, Haleem Adil Sheikh said the enemy should know that we are a strong nation. He said we as a nation are united and are standing before the enemy like a stonewall. He said the rulers should correct their direction, adopt, and implement the Pakistan ideology in the letter and spirit. He said this is also the message of Pakistan Muslim League, which we would spread in every nook and corner of the country that for a real progress and prosperity of Pakistan we need to implement the teachings of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal.
