Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has summoned a meeting of parliamentary leaders to hold consultation on the formation of a judicial commission to probe allegations of organised rigging in the last general elections.
The meeting will be held at Prime Minister’s Chambers in Parliament House.
According to sources, Prime Minister Sharif will take the parliamentary leaders into confidence about the proposed judicial commission. In addition, participants of the meeting will review the draft of proposed commission and presidential ordinance.
The move comes a couple of days after the PML-N government and PTI agreed to constitute a judicial commission to probe the alleged vote fraud.
