Law enforcement authorities, while finalising the security plan for Pakistan Day celebrations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), have declared seven districts of the province as sensitive.
KP Police authorities have said that as per decision seven districts including Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Hangu, Mardan and Abbottabad have been declared sensitive.
In accordance with security plan for Pakistan Day, being observed on Monday (tomorrow) security in the sensitive districts has been beefed further through deployment of additional security personnel, increase in patrolling and snaps checking.
The security personnel across the province have been directed to remain vigilant on the occasion of March 23, to avoid any untoward occurrence and citizens have been appealed to keep watch on their surroundings besides extending full cooperation to LEAs personnel.
