The Punjab government has approved the appointment of three thousand workers who will create awareness about the dengue virus. A campaign in this connection will be launched next month.
During the campaign, the workers would identify the places including markets and, tyre shops, which could become the breeding grounds for dengue.
These places would be strictly monitored and spray carried out to keep the city free from dengue virus.
