As reported in the newspapers the Interior Ministry is revisiting its international treaty obligations about prisoners’ extradition. This decision has been taken to ensure effectiveness of unflinching action and nationwide campaign against terrorism. In the past there have been examples where this treaty has been misused, so it is an appreciative direction being taken by the government to eliminate all sorts of loopholes in the criminal justice system. While making the legal and theoretical base of criminal justice wholesome, there is an equal need to keep the work of law enforcement agencies more effectively productive.
