Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday directed to take all the necessary measures for the safety of public’s life and property.
During a meeting to review law and order situation in the city, he said that no one would be allowed to destroy the peace of the country and ordered to ensure the implementation of law.
He further instructed the administration to take indiscriminate action against the extremists.
Punjab Interior Minister Colonel (r) Shuja Khanzada, National Assembly Member (MNA) Hamza Shahbaz, Provincial Assembly Member (MPA) Rana Sanaullah, chief secretary and inspector general of police also attended the meeting.
Earlier, he had directed to arrest the killers of Naeem who was set on fire by the mob after Youhanabad blast.
He also said that killing a person only on the basis of suspicion was an act of inhumanity. He said that nobody could be allowed to take law and order into their hands.
Meanwhile, the home minister said that the protesters involved in Naeem’s killing will be identified through videos and cases will be registered against those involved in damaging public property.
