All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) Chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has been invited by Pakistan High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit to New Delhi to apprise him about the outcome of recent foreign secretary level talks with India.
Chairing a meeting at Mirwaiz Manzil in Srinagar, Farooq informed the Awami Action Committee members that he had been invited by the high commissioner for briefing on foreign secretary level talks with India, said a statement issued from his office, KMS reported.
“In this regard, a meeting of the APHC will be convened soon. Mirwaiz appreciated Pakistan’s unflinching support to the Kashmir cause and to the path of dialogue and hoped that India will also accept that subjugation of Kashmiri people cannot continue forever,” the statement added.
Looks like Pakistani establishment is bent on conflict to continue.
