Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Chairman Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao Sunday criticised the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government that will participate in upcoming National Finance Commission (NFC) meeting when the funds will be released.

Speaking to a delegation of political workers who joined the QWP on the occasion, Sherpao said the provincial government should have consult opposition parties on issue, instead of boycotting meeting.

Sherpao said such decisions would weaken the provincial economy and would cause Rs 50 million loss to the provincial exchequer. Further, he said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government has failed to beautify the provincial capital let alone planting one billion trees in every nook and corner of the province.

Sherpao said there is an increase extortion for ransom, target killings and kidnapping for ransom has forced the well-off families to move to other parts of the country.
