ISLAMABAD:
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali today lashed out at Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) for its “tirade against army and rangers.”
In a press statement on Saturday, Nisar said that MQM’s diatribe against army was crossing its limits. “Can such a language be used anywhere in the world against own army?” he questioned.
The interior minister said that MQM itself had demanded handing over Karachi to army.
“MQM had shared power with the same army for nine years,” he stated.
