Two persons was reportedly killed while 12 others were injured in an explosion in Orangi No.12 area of Karachi on Saturday.
According to details, the blast took place near Barohi restaurant which was thronged by customers.
Bomb disposal squad officials said that the bomb weighed one kilogramme and was packed with nuts and ball bearings in a cement block.
The medico-legal officer at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital said that 10 people had been brought to the hospital. Of these, one was dead, while nine were in injured condition. The deceased was identified as Shakeel Siddiqui.
SP Orangi Town Ali Asif said that two people who had been injured in the blast had also been taken to Qatar Hospital for treatment.
