A counter terrorism department (CTD) of city police arrested two terrorists of banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on Wednesday.
CTD Incharge Khurram Waris said that a team of the department on a tip-off regarding presence of miscreants conducted operations at Hub River View Road near Paracha Chowk. He said exchange of fire took place during the raid after which two TTP terrorists were detained along with arms. Khurram Waris said the nabbed terrorists were expert in laying landmines.
The detainees have been shifted to undisclosed destination for further interrogation.
