Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shahryar Khan has said that as per an MoU signed with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Pakistan and India will play six cricket tournaments in the next eight years.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore, the PCB chief said the current Indian government’s attitude is relatively better, and the first home series between the two countries will be played in December 2015 in UAE.

“We hope India’s junior cricket team will also visit Pakistan,” he said.

Shahryar said that during his visit to India, he couldn’t meet the BCCI head Jagmohan Dalmiya due to the latter’s illness, however, he had positive discussions with him over telephone.

“Resumption of cricket between the two countries was discussed,” he told media persons.

Netherlands, Nepal and Ireland are also willing to tour Pakistan soon, the board chairman added.
