At least one person was killed and six others were injured on Thursday when unidentified assailants attacked a security checkpost near Gora Qabristan area in Peshawar.
The deceased was identified as one of the assailants, while the injured victims were passengers of a van, said Superintendent of Police (SSP) Peshawar Muhammad Umar. Both army and police personnel were present at the checkpost during the time of the attack.
