Imran threatens to protest again if rigging not ceased

ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that 2015 was the year of elections, threatening to come out on streets again if judicial government was not formed to investigate alleged rigging in the 2013 elections.

Addressing a press conference on Tuesday, he stated that his party would announce its line of action after the election tribunal announced its decision about alleged rigging in NA-122.

Khan said PTI would play the role of a real opposition because people are fed up of PPP-PML-N alliance.

“Whenever traditional political parties feel insecure, they form an alliance against the PTI,” he said.

He praised Raza Rabbani, but said his performance would be monitored in the Senate.

Khan further added that PTI would never become part of PPP and PML-N alliance.
