Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Tuesday said that with the nation’s backing, the Pakistani military would ensure peace and security in the country.
Speaking to cadets during a visit to the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) at Kakul, the army chief reiterated his commitment to rooting out terrorism from the country.
Gen Sharif also praised PMA Kakul as an institution, calling it Pakistan’s premier military academy and an important asset where the army’s future leadership is trained and developed. He encouraged and motivated the young cadets, telling them to never shy away from facing challenges.
