KARACHI
PPP co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari has summoned a meeting of the allied parties tody (Monday) as his party has given a green signal to Raza Rabbani for the Senate chairmanship.
Members of MQM, JUI, ANP, PML-Q, Functional League and FATA have been invited to the meeting.
Asif Ali Zardari held a telephonic conversation with MQM Chief Altaf Hussain earlier and discussed post-Senate elections with him.
The PPP leader also stressed upon political reconciliation and cooperation.
